I'm looking for some new colors of res lipless crankbaits for fall..I'm stuck on sexy shad..what are some great fall colors ? And what are your favorite fall colors

I've been wanting to try these ..I went to my local tackle shop and they were sold out of about every color..couldn't find any colors left that I wanted..

Anyone tried the new real deal craw? I think it's made by big bite baits..been looking for them in stores but they don't have them in my local stores yet

Maybe some new jig colors too..I mostly just use 1/2 football jigs ..been stuck on pbj and green pumpkin black and blue..more less wanting to expand a bit..I see a lot if cool jig and trailer combos but I've gotten bad about sticking to the same old thing..btw I fish a lot of clear to light stained water..thx

So I've gotten hung up on powerbait chigger crawls and rage tail craws as trailers for quite some time..Looking for new jig trailers that others are using that work well ..nothing wrong with my trailers just looking to try something diff ? Anyone used the kanami psychodads as trailers? Thx in advance.

I got two packs of the manns jelly worms this summer grape and black in 12 inch and I caught a few decent fish on them..some people have told me they caught monsters on them over the years idk I only texas rigged them with a 3/8 tungston and didnt commit to them to much.. just here and there..three pounds was prob my biggest..

Yeah the rod I have sells for 180$ used at my local tackle store thought about trying to work a deal with them..I'm just not much on anything but g loomis and higher end shimano rods ..just curious about skeet reese rods..I've used alot of good rods that weren't that expensive..

Okay ill Try and make this quick ..Idk much about skeet reese rods I generally prefer higher end rods..I've heard that the 7 and 7"10 crankin stick is pretty nice for a 90$ rod..I've got a guy trying to trade me one and a citica for a loomis crankbait medium light rod..I'm a big fan of g loomis and there mostly all I use..but the rod I'm moving is just too light for me..let me know your opinions on the reese crankin rods ? I'm very interested in the citica but not so much the rod..i dont currently own a 7"10 crankbait rod and was curious thanks..

I was at my local walmart tonight and went over to the fishing section to look around.. I usually dont look at there rods and reels but I do buy some baits there..decided to look through the clearence rods and they had vendettas marked down to 29 $.I don't know much about them but ive heard some good things... for the price I couldnt pass it up..just wanted to let everyone know..Im a g loomis guy but had to pick one up for that price.Idk if this is every walmart because im in ky and my store ususlly doesnt have very good deals..I always read about all these great deals on here.

. Yes I got on a kick buying all these diff colors just because I wanted to use a diff color than the same ole green pumpkin..but when it comes to forage it's hard to beat green pumpkin..it's been proven to me time and time again.

This is very true..I was out today and was using diff lures recon worms and senkos in green pumpkin burning them up and then ran out of both and used all sorts of diff colors and nothing ..same lures just diff colors and nothing..couldnt decide if I was gonna drop everything and run to the bait store or just use something else lol.. needless to say nothing rest of the day after that..well caught a couple more on a red eye shad..

I've been debating about a backpack myself..and packing less in it ..I pack a huge kvd plano bag with 5 3700 cases and prob 20 bags of plastics jammed full..I swear it weighs 50 pds

Thanks that's pretty much what in doing..I was just curious with me mostly fishing ponds could I get away with 12pd mono for most applications even cover..I love the way 12 pd feels but I'm not as comfortable pulling lunkers out even though I have done it often with 12..for some reason I feel like I need 17-20 fishing any good cover..I guess to sum it up what I'm saying I love the way 12 feels fishing but I feel more confident when I hook up with 17-20 pd like its gonna hold em alot better..

Okay ill try and get straight to the point ..I use 12pd for my crankbait rod and I was using it for fishing ponds for swimjigs and a 3/8 Texas rig..I use flouro braid an mono and usually pack 5 rods all rigged up diff..lately I've been using 17-20 pd mono for jigging 1/2 jigs 10-12" worms 30pd braid for other things and have been using my 12 for lighter texas rigs and 7" worms smaller things ..but here's my dilemma I fish on the lake with a good tournament fisherman about 3 times a month and he has been trying to get me to keep around 20 pd test on everything..where fixing to fish a tournament July 13 so I just recently swapped most of my rods to 20 pd test..I mostly fish ponds and lakes and I use the same stuff everyone uses on the lakes curados revos g loomis etc etc..I pretty comfortable using 12pd test but I'm into punching thick grass and doing the same things most do on the lakes in small lakes an ponds..basically I hunt for huge bass in ponds alot..I guess what I'm asking is as comfortable as I am with 30 pound braid and 12 pound mono and flouro is it really necessary for me to use 20 pd test fishing the Kentucky lake? I know punching and grass mats require heavier lines but still..opinions ? I feel comfortable with the 12 pd test even when I'm pulling 5-6 pd bass out but it's easier when using 17-20..I think what I'm doing is overkill and the heavier line of course doesn't cast as well I'm using 3/8 and 1/2 weights on it..I don't throw too much 3/4 and 1 ounce unless I'm on the big lake in a bass boat ..

Okay so I've used alot of diff types of mono..I already use some braid and flouro but I'm still a big fan of mono..of course I use diff lines for diff apps just like everyone else..I've been through all sorts of monos from cheap to expensive and always end back up with stren somewhere down the line ..it's hard to beat and it's just good line..I've been using suffix braid for a while now on a rod or two and love it..more less I'm curious about suffix mono? Give me your opinions plz

I just got 2 rods off of a friend of mine..both of them have filthy dirty cork handles..I'm just looking for some tips on cleaning them up really well..most of my rods are all split grips now and have no cork type material ..but he hooked me up with some nice rods free and I just wanna get them clean..I already cleaned them with soap and water with a toothbrush..they came alot cleaner than they were but I want to get them even cleaner..just looking for a good simple safe soultion without messing up the corks..when i get used rods I always clean them really well thanks..
