Chunks can be rigged anyway that you want really. You can run it up the hook like in Matstone7's picture or you can just poke it through the fat part of the chunk and let it sit at the bend of the hook for a larger presentation. I hardly ever use chunks but thats just my preference. Experiment both ways!

anyone try zoom speed craws for trailers? i think next time im out im going to give it a shot..

Years and years ago (before all the new-fangled stuff came to market), us oldtimers (when we were young) bought jars of white pork rind that we used as trailers. Wouldn't be surprised if pork rind still would work.

Yup. The Uncle Josh product - which is still available - was the "pig" on the hook of the jig. The jig used 4 - 5 decades ago was very likely skirted with bucktail, not rubber or silicone.

Bass fishing presentations have changed but the bass's behavior hasn't; I'm sure the good ol' jig and pig is as effective now as ever.

thanx, thats what i have been doing... i havent experimented much with jigs as i am just learning how to fish plastic worms, and someone told me to first learn how to worm fish and then begin using jigs.... i have been catching some fish with worms so i think my next time out ill give jigs a try...

Rage Tail or a chunk

Just bought some Jigs today to start fishing them again. Purchased some Zoom Chunks to use as trailers. Also have Culprit Worms that will match too.

Either Rage tail chunk, Grub, baby rage craw or the netbait paca Chunk. The rage tail action is insane and out fishes every other trailer i use. My only issue with them is the claws come off easy.
