Pickwick Grass?

Featured Replies

What is your normal go to on big grass beds? Fished pickwick last weekend and we spent most of the day in the grass. I caught a few on the spook but that was about all we could get without constantly hangin up. Tried a spinner bait and very limited use of the jig, just a little too hairy where we were.

I was wondering if you guys had a go to lure for grass bed fishing on the river

Where did you put in and fish. Crank/spinner ticking grass top. Worms, wacky, drop shot. Topwater early. More info and maybe I can help better. Also soft swimbaits.

River? Grass sounds like your on the Al section? I use a Scum frog or big worm rigged TX style. That or have had great days using a slug-go on top of the grass. Anything you can get back without hanging up works.
