Loxahatchee 9-17

Featured Replies

i took my kids fishing today at loxahatchee from 11:30-2. i was hoping my daughter would last longer, but i can't complain because she lasted close to 3 hours. i really couldn't take the kids to the area that i wanted to, because i knew ava wouldn't last too long. connor was a champ casting and reeling on his own, and ava is still learning. i was catching a bunch of little ones when i asked ava if she wanted to reel a fish in. she did and she was stoked! connor didn't catch a fish, but he didn't complain and kept on chunkin. i let connor drive the boat in the no wake zone back to the ramp. he was stoked! my kids are growing up too fast.

Cherish these memories forever, and get them on the water as much as possible! Congrats to you!

I would say they did pretty good. Short & sweet works best when they are little.
