Uh I Think I'm Converted

Featured Replies

Hey guys I know a topic got a little nasty the other day but I have to write this. After reading tons of topics and posts on here and all I heard was shimano. I bought one a chronarch 200e7 and all I have to say is wow.

I'm not one to follow trends or buy expensive crap just because. Heck I enjoy generic cereal and cheap clothes but I can't help but get the feeling that like my dads 92 BMW sure there are better cars out there with more gadgets and gizmos but nothing rides better.

I love Abu and will probably get a new S but now I understand the hype. It's ergonomic and after removing the grease it's like butter. For anyone that was wondering try it!!

Congrats. Enjoy it. I have the 200E5 and it's a great reel.

I don't get involved with brand wars. I own several Shimano reels, also some penn and soon a Daiwa. If its quality its quality end of story. Congrats on the purchase!

Agreed. I have 6 Lews TSS's, and 2 Chronarch 200E 6's. Both AWESOME reels. I am not loyal to brands, but I sure am good to myself!

On the other hand, I am partial to my Dobyns rods.

Just fish.

Just fish.

Agreed. My Black Max 2 was only $35 and it was a great reel for being considered "low end". Now I have a revo SX and a new S, but my black max still keeps up with them both. It's great to have nice gear, but remember that kid you grew up with that had brand new Air Jordans, wore all the wrist bands, had the authentic basketball jerseys but the first time he touched the ball he dribbled off his foot? LOL. The bass don't know which reel you're using.
