Mobile Fishing Log Apps

Featured Replies

I have an iPhone and have been looking at Fishing Log Applications. Something that automatically records weather and moon phase with entries would be great.

Has anyone tried these apps and what do you prefer? I've looked mainly at the Strike King, Jimmy Houston, and MyFishingPattern apps.

I really like the idea that Real Fishin has but it would be great if you could do it on the spot!

There are plenty to choose from. I like the weather-related apps, each of which allow you to take pix and chronicle your catches.

Fish Cal (iTunes link)

Fishing Deluxe (iTunes link)

ScoutLook Fish Log (iTunes link)

Of those, I use the first two more often. And by "more often" I mean only to check the best fishing times. I fell out of the logging my catches thing a while back.

If you can keep it up, it is a great tool.

i use the jimmy houston app. its pretty decent. has moon phases on it as well.

Hey busy, I am actually working on an app for realfishin, hopefully have it done in a month or two!

Fishing spots and catch-it. Are the 2 I use I don't like myfishingpatterns because my phone won't connect with the website to update my rods reels and tackle so I can't use it correctly. I can't find the jimmy Houston one is that iTunes?
