Is this a good fit for me to fish smaller lakes(less than 250 acres)? I weigh about 235, it's rated for 325 lbs, and take very little gear with me. I like the fact that it's light weight, and can fit in my van, and it's said to be very stable. I cannot try it out because the closest dealer is 160 miles away. Thanks.

I'd go with one of the plastic bass boats of your not set on the kayak they are super stable I own two but that seems to be a bit wider than most kayaks which would really help on the stability
