When do you think there will be a big push for items like this and do you think companies will adapt to the conditions fast enough to stay in business?  Also do you think brands like Gulp and Tru-Tungsten will draw more consumers as laws prohibit plastics and lead?

Short answer  - yes to all.  However, I think the change will come slowly and barring some extreme technological innovation the major tackle manufacturers will either be the source of the innovation or will quickly adapt.  I think we will see few companies made or broken by changing conditions. 

I think all companies are gonna start making more eco friendly tackle. And to be honest it seems to benefit fishermen tungsten weights are smaller an more sensitive granted alittle more pricey and I personally like the gulp line. Also the more companies that move to bio baits and tungsten may bring down some prices. Again benefiting us. Win-win in my opinion. I don't think it will effect any companies though. It will probably a simple conversion for them.
