The small pond my buddy lives on gets really heavily weeded with pads hydrilla and various grasses. he has a weedless prop on his boat I dont and his does much better than mine. I cant even get through some areas he can. he has a 35lb thrust mines a 45lb so I would love to get one I think the 10lbs more would make a huge difference. For 30 bucks or so I'd say there well worth it.

Thats the one i thought i could make work. If you go to the minn kota website they have a chart and the endura 45 is only listed under the power prop (mkp-2). It doesnt make sense to me i would have figured they would make a weedless prop for all motors or at least an adapter kit something.

I cant find a weedless prop for my minn kota endura 45. Not sure if i'm missing it or what but it seems like every trolling motor they make has one but that model. Any help would be appreciated. I even bought one thinking I could make it work but no luck.

I'm wondering if I can melt down my used plastics and re-pour them? Not sure how remelting the plastic will go? Anyone do this and have any helpful input?

I like the chigger craw a lot its good rigged on its own or used as a trailer.

I've been using berkley 100% fluoro but seems like a lot of people are using vicious pros and amateurs alike. So i'm wondering those of you that have used both let me know your opinions. Vicious is like half the price but i dont mind spending the money if a product is better. thanks

What techniques/cover are you fishing in?

I Love my 7ft mh. I plan on buying a few more soon. I think there nicely balance, light, and the micro guides make for longer and smoother cast. I also am i big fan of the split grip which is on it. For the money you wont have any regrets.

It's everywhere!!!! today I saw it on two T.V. shows. Anyone using it or intend to get it? i've used it saltwater fishing (trolling) but not sure how i feel about it for bass. Sounds like everyone who fishes tournies better have one (where its legal).

I personally like the snagproof and spro frogs they've always done fine by me. Everyone has there own opinion on it though. You probably can find a bunch of you tube videos on walking frogs. Its the same concept as walking any other bait slightly harder (practice).The one tip I can give is to trim the legs it can help with short strikes and allows the frog to sit at a more level plain in the water making it easier to walk. I too love the stanley ribbits. Goodluck..

if its between the two id go with duckett. I have both and both are 7'6" MH the duckett was about 40 dollars cheaper that times 3 gives you 120 bucks to blow on other fishing stuff.The crucials are about 20 dollars more than the duckett. Both are good rods though and you wouldnt be disappointed either way you go. To most people it will be a preference thing not a dislike in the either rod

I'm thinking about buying the Denny brauer flip and pitch reel. But i've never owned an ardent reel just Shimano and Abu. So to those of you who have this reel or use Ardents, or know someone who does how do you/they like them?

Goose how did you find out your lead levels were high? normal testing or had symptoms of it?

Jfrancho I never knew lead had an inert state. I always just figured lead was lead. If what you say is true (and I have no reason to doubt) why all the hype about it? Everything thing with lead says this product is known to the state of blah blah we've all seen it a million times. It raises a lot of questions in my mind that's all I'm saying. Either way i'm using tungsten when possible.

It just seems like it could be a real cool game to make with all the game technology thats out there. Maybe there isnt enough demand for it. I have the rapala one and can play it maybe 30 minutes then im good for 6 months.

I saw Mark Pack on big bass battle talking about this. When a bass bites sometimes it will grab the lead and when we go to set the hook the lead comes out first opening the basses jaws before the hook can be set. He showed a way to tie a knot so that if a bass did grab the lead the hook kind of pivots upwards almost setting itself. I haven't tried it but it looked very interesting to say the least. Maybe someone can find the video and post it.

I wouldn't mind the banning of lead if it is proven to help the environment. The problem is there isn't a big selection of other non-lead options. If this ban catches on there could be a big change in the fishing world. I personally try to buy tungsten whenever possible (I like it better). My question on the ban is how does it get enforced? can you use lead that you already possess and just can't purchase it in the state? or banned all together? also is it only in the fishing tackle itself? and last how would you get caught? to the naked eye tungsten and lead look the same especially painted ones. should be interesting to see what comes of this. Were can you read on the banning and its specifics?
