I have an old Allstar 7' medium PRM rod. What would this rod be best suited for?

I have tried various techniques with it and if you catch a fish over 3 pounds this thing bends all the way to the handle. It looks like you have a 10 lber hooked.

Don't know that particular rod, but a few years back I purchased an Allstar im10 , labeled as a redfish rod. On the way home from the store I stopped at a canal to test it, a couple of 1# bass bent that rod in half..........redfish, yeh right ! I took it back right away and exchanged for a rod half the price with the same line and lure ratings, happy as could be with exchange rod.
