Any one know good fishing place near Rochester NY ? I went for salmon fishing near rose garden and it was great. But apart from Salmon where other place should I go for comparatively big fishing in Rochester area ? I dont have any boat so cant realy go Ontario lake middle or Irondequoit bay. Any other good location where there is really some good amount of middium or big fish ?

There's lots of good shore spots. Irondequoit Bay outlet, Russel Station (Slater Creek), Webster Park, Long Pond, Braddocks, Summerville Pier...

If you don't mind a drive there's the 2 creeks in orleans county Johnsons and Oak Orchard they offer some great salmon and trout fishing
