Anyone Keep Their Gear In Their Car?

Featured Replies

In the late 70's I was stationed in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I had an old white chevy station wagon and a white ABS plastic canoe. The canoe and all my tackle went in/on the car before ice out and stayed there until after deer season. I fished a lot. Mainly for northern pike.

Now, another time and place, I don't dare leave any tackle in my rag top jeep. In no time at all, I wouldn't have any windows or tackle.

Depending on where you live its probably a bad idea. I live in Philly so Im never ever keeping gear in my car.

I usually keep all my gear in the car, 4 rods and lots of tackle. But if im going into philly or anywhere shady it comes out, lol.

Used to keep most of my tackle in my trunk. I say "used to" because it all got stolen, along with my golf clubs, about a month ago. Won't be doing that anymore
