Pp Sportsman Vs Sportsman2

Featured Replies

Anyone have one or the other and have some comments on it? only difference I can see is the black vs anodized silver and the brushless motor.

I dont need any other controls other than the wireless one, looks like thats optional on the sportsman

The Silver Sportsman you see comes with a hard wired Dash switch and black reversing relay box. Also a different motor that sits on top of the pump. As you have read it has brushes in it. This unit does NOT come with a hand remote. Hand remote system from Power Pole runs 289.00. With this unit you will have to run wires from the rear of the boat to the dash. This unit takes longer to install sells for 995.00

The Sportsman 2 comes with a wirless dash switch AND hand remote. NO wires to run through the boat and NO reversing relay needed. A simple positive and negetive to the battery. Install time is much faster and more options are included in this unit. MAP is 1195.00

Stright forward opinion.. You will come out ahead going to the Sportsman 2.
