I have a medium in 7ft and I like it. I also picked it up when it was discounted. Good buy. I also throw some spinnerbaits on it and it does well with that too.

Im sometimes I think I should have bought the mh but its probably mental since most of my casting rods are in mh. I throw shallow divers and squarebills mostly and it handles those well. Lipless Cranks once in a while but I think the mh might handle those better if you choose to. I throw them on a different rod

heres a thread

I've had three still have two, good stick for the money, sensitive and light. I like the power hump handle on mine but some ppl don't. Mine are the older black blank, im6 composite.

I also have one. It's a great rod. Mine is 6 1/2 ft. medium.

I have 4 of them - all bought at that $59 price point. Many folks are of the opinion that there is no better cranking rod available at their regular price, and at $59 they are a bargain.

If you search this forum, you'll find a number of threads on these rods.

I have had a 6'6" M and a 7' MH for years (paid only $29 and $39, respectively) and they have served me very well. That being said, I am ready to upgrade and will take a good look the Veritas Winch rod this winter.

I have one of the older black versions that my dad bought years ago and now I use it. We both have caught a lot of fish on it and its still going strong. It's hard to beat for the money and will serve you well.

When a friend of mine recently retired we pooled our money and bought him a MH crankin' stick and a 200G5 for deep cranks. He loves it. I've also got a 6'6" M and a 6' ML crankin' stick. That ML is a sweet rod for casting shad raps and flicker shads on a casting rod. Hands down the best value in a crank rod, especially on sale.

I have a 7ft. in Med action and the only knock I have on it is that it isn't a Med/Hvy. I got it for shallower/smaller cranks and it does a good job of casting 'em, but I like a little more sensitivy than this rod has and I think the M/H would have given me that. Caught my biggest fish this season on that rod, so it will still be on the deck next season.

I just picked up a 7foot medium/light and although I haven't fished it yet, once i seen it on sale I couldn't pass it up. Plus I like the power hump handle.
