I just sold my boat, I had a 86 hydra sport with a 150 evinrude. I hav the chance to get a 88 bumble bee with a 150 black max. The boat is in good shape for its age, but I really don't know much about them, I do know they are pretty fast boats, which in return I wonder if its a rough riding boat and not as good to fish out of as others. Any info on these boats would help. Thanks

Can't tell you about the Bumble Bee but, If you are wanting a fast good riding boat I would suggest you keep your eyes open for a 92 up Stratos-Javelin-Hydrosport, all the same hull. Very fast and great riding. I am seeing many listed right now on Craigslist for sub 4K in what appears to be very good conditions.

I had. Hydra Sport it was pretty gas and rode pretty good also.

Im in a bass club in Virginia and several members have bumble bees, one even owned a dealership. I have ridden and fished out of many boats and the bees are very stable platforms. I have ridden in some fairly rough chop and they were suprisingly dry. I do believe they were Younger than yr 2000.
