I fish the ohio river and it's a pretty big river. Actually caught a smaller this morning.

What does everyone like to fish? River or lake? I myself like fishing the rivers. Just for the fact less boats.

Your not alone, I stopped fishing as often as I did about 6 years ago or so. I have still fished but not like I did, now I am being able to go more I can't catch fish likeni use to be able to. I think it's not so much we can't fish like we could but the fact water's change, we go back to spots we use to fish and do really well. But un reality those places don't hold fish like they did. Try going to different places and use different baits. If your like me it's hard not to use the same technique I always have, but they something different, even if you have to leave all your other stuff at home. You may be just as surprised as I was. There are good deals everywhere im a electrcian and make fairly decent money, i bought a 93 Ranger fish and ski in pretty good shape just needed a motor, i only paid 700.00 for it and found a good 150 for 400.00, im a budget fisherman but keep an eye out man. I cant see how guys spend all this money on boats and can afford to use them, if i had a boat payment i wouldnt be able to afford gas for it lol

nice looking boat, what kind of speed you get out of that? ive been looking to go to an aluminum boat, lund, ranger, and vexus are my picks.

What would be the better one to go to without a boat

I recently aqquired one, and if i wasnt on my computer would post pics. Its 16ft long with a 88spl Johnson, seems to run fine, also has a jackplate.. The boat is a 1976 model and from what im gathering is pretty rare considering this was the only bass boat that checkmate made. Just wanted to see if anyone has had or heard of them? How should it run boat is only 700lbs, and has a 1988 88hp spl Johnson? Thanks guys

yes has oil injection and it is working, i tried to turn by hand and with starter goes around so far and stops..

89 model 150 xr4 Merc, was running just fine down the lake then all of a sudden locked up? Any ideas? im pretty motor savvy but not to much on the internals? Im thinking rod? But what would cause it?

it does not come with it its only sonar and DI can i get the gps somehow by adding anything?

I myself dont even put mine up, the times have i always get nice and comfy and miss a fish lol

If transom was ok i wouldnt go as far to say 3500 but maybe 2500 that is if motor checked out, carpet isnt a big deal or big expense if tou do it yourself
