    well i owned a ranger, 93 model 390v 18 and a half, with a 150 johnson gt, it would run about 63 but it would run that in any water conditon, all your lite boats will have to let off due to waves but in a ranger you dont have to due to the weight. its not all about speed, me myselfwould rather have a heavier more stable boat.
