i know Google earth has good maps, but i want ones where you can get a rough estimate ofwater depht? Anyone know where i can see that online? YoungGun29

Day before yesterday i had the notion to go to Bass Pro, so i woke up yesterday morning and started my 4 hour trip to Toledo.. Knowing in my head that there was a good chance of snow.. Well guess what i get within 25 miles and it is pouring the snow.. Took me 45 min to go 12 miles lol But oh well i got to go spend alot of money and i wouldnt of traded it for the world... Things we do as die hard fisherman... YoungGun29

Would really like to make some crankbaits, poppers ect, what all would i need to do so? Anything will help thanks guys!

1. Slow down, i myself am guilty of fishing to fast.. 2. Do stuff you normally wouldnt, i dont know about you all but i find myself doing the same ol things day in and out, regaurdless to weather its working or not.. 3. Dont be scared to fish deeper water, also myself also wants to fish right against the bank..

Thanks everyone! Headed out to the lake today it's down to winter pool gonna go see what I usually can't.. My winter will consist of archery competitions, trout fishin, buying more tackle, and trying to learn as much as possible!!

Its cold here in Kentucky, all ive caught is an occasional trout.. Been looking at plenty of maps of lakes, and trying to find new spots to fish.. What occupies everyones time until spring?

Yes it does lol if you look it has a sticker that says redman classic on it. My dad won the redman classic out of that boat in 1993 plus he put the boat together when it came in cause he worked at a ranger dealer. So yes you could say it has sentimental value lol

plus i have a garage to put it in

my 391 will run over 60 in almost any water condition 63-64 crabs been worked on holes poked in exhaust my dads been a boat mechanic for over 30 years lol

we have still been fishing lol and it was in this shape when he bought it maybe not as bad though he gave 5000 for it 6 years ago. and yes it could use a set if tires but my brother just had a kidney transplant and can't get the cover on hisself i put the cover on it a while back. and yes that Johnson will push her around 65-66 and that's pretty good for that heavy of a boat with just a 150 on it. needless to say dad has tweaked it a little.

you always have to ask a little less lol and yes everything works and still has original ranger cover! lol

we have some pretty rough water down here when we have tournaments that are 100 plus boats. and my 20 ft ranger with a 150 will run in rough water against any boat. Now smooth water obviously they outrun me by a mile lol

well i will say im stuck on rangers, in my opinon they ride the smoothest although they are not the fastest, but keep this in mind you get in rough water you will pass any bullet blazer or your fast boats cause they just can't handle rough water.

and the trailer has all new bearing buddies and has been taken care of.

i agree he did what he absolutely had to do to fish lol but our dad has been a boat mechanic for over 30 years. yes it needs seats and carpet but i can do the carpet for around 100 dollars. seats may be a different story though? any suggestions? thanks guys

1993 391v 20 ft Ranger this is my brothers boat and it has been somewhat well took care of. has a flipping deck and is power by a Johnson gt 150 with a 4 blade shooter prop. i can get the boat for 3000 and know its well worth it. tell me what you all
