Erie Dearie For Bass Fishing

Featured Replies

I have a few of these from a walleye fishing trip this past summer.

Has anyone used them for bass? Casting? Trolling?

Thanks in advance.

With or without live bait? Most erie dearie fisherman use a live nightcrawler. I guess you could use a paddle tail or plastic worm on there as well. It is just a weighted inline spinner bait. I have never used one for bass but I'm sure they would work. Kind of like the old june bug spinner but with a weight. I caught my first five lb largemouth in mogadore on a june bug spinner back in the 60's

Thanks. I have some mepps inline spinner baits in a 1/2oz size for bass fishing that have worked for smallies in streams. Not my favorite things in the world.

I guess I'm going to have to try them out in the spring.
