Hello everyone! I'll be making a trip out to Lake Oroville in January. Has anyone had any experience fishing Oroville in the winter? Any specific locations that I should hit? Bait suggestions that are good in the winter there? Thanks!

How'd you trip to Oroville go?    I'm fishing a tournament there on Oct 18th and never fished it.  I was thinking to try topwater early in the morning then transition to spinnerbaits, crank baits, jigs and drop shots as the day progresses.

 

Any advise on a plan of attack?  Any particular part of the lake that produces bigger fish? I only have 1 day to practice.
