Featured Replies

Hello All I am new to this website, i live in Alberta Canada, and unfortunally we have no Bass here, So comming to Washington state this summer to fish some tourneys, The Lakes are Banks, Rosevelt, Potholes, Tri cities,

Any info on any of these lakes would be great. With a 16 hr drive prefishing will be limited if any, don't need hot spots but some general locations, also any bait info, water types, etc.

Hope to see some of you on the water

Thanks in Advance

Welcome! I see you must be fishing the NW Bass circuit. Smallmouth will be your main fish to target, with the Potholes offering both largemouth and smallmouth. The others offer largemouth too, but they can be trickier to catch. Banks largemouth seem to be improving over the last few years, but the early April tournament makes it a bit tougher. Hula grubs on a football head will become your best friend! Good luck and I hope to see you out there.

Thanks

I am Hoping that the fish gods are good to us come time, and all my experience from ontario pays off with some fish that at least put us on the board. Finding info in forums has been limited for washington lakes although the info we have gotten so far is good, fishing in ontario the seasons start at the end of june, so early spring fishing is a new game for me. just have to take all the advice in and sort it out on the water as we go.
