Hello everyone,

I am a new member to the forums, I live in the merriam, KS area. I am a 27 year old, athletic trainer (ie sports medicine) for a local college so my falls and winters are pretty busy. I have been fishing all my life but have never been good at it; I like to fish for bass (large and smallies), crappie, walleye, and/or catfish. I am a shore fisherman, looking at getting a fishing kayak in the near future (most likely a freedom hawk just have to talk the wife into it). I would like to learn from someone who is willing to teach, I don't want handouts. I am purely a recreational fisherman and primarily catch/pic/release, unless I can get into good crappie.
