What do you S FL guys think about the cold weather we got now? Going to LOX tomorrow, and am wondering how the weather is going to affect the fish. I know they are spawning now, gonna get into the flats. Im thinking the high 60's may help. What do you guys think about the afternoon trip?

Its going to be interesting. North wind 10-15mph and sunny skies. If the water is not stirred up with the wind you should be able to find bedding fish if indeed they starting bedding yet. I went out to the glades last Sat and we did not see any spawners. Either way enjoy the outing and good luck.

I got on fish less than 2 weeks ago on the flats out front of the 20 mile bend. I was finding them in the clean holes next to the grass islands. All were caught on swimbaits.

The forecast is 16-23 mph gusts in my area, temp may reach 66 degrees but won't feel that warm. I will most likely take my first day off from fishing in many many months. With 8' waves coming in I'm tempted to hit the ocean, but only tempted, lol.

The last couple of weeks the bass fishing has been pretty good, although this past week it seems to have slowed down some.

It was a tought day. The wind was a bit nutz in the open areas. Once we floated past the main opening from the ramp canal, I had a 5er blow up on my Humpin Toad. After that it was solid 2-3lbers off the frogs and EZs. Was OK for the weather conditions.

Yeah, I could imagine that wind, however if you had solid commitments from 2-3lbers I would say it could of been worse considering the conditions. I am glad you had an ok day.
