My wife bought me a 6'6" Medium Light Berkley Cherrywood Spinning Rod

What rigs would you use on this and what reels and line would you pair it with?

You could try Shaky head or wacky but I would make into a nice Crappie rig setup if could. I would stick with 6# line no bigger than 8.

Could also try small topwater poppers.

I would throw a small abu garcia cardinal on it or a plfueger president with a 6-8lb test line for light presentations and nothing you need a hard hook set or heavy weight for.
