Istokpoga Pics

So if you were following the Okeechobee thread you know that we bailed on Friday morning and moved up to Hendersons on Istokpoga. Here are a few pics Nicole took while playing with her Christmas present (camera) on Friday afternoon. Mixed light showers and heavy overcast. I found a few that were shallow, looks like they were getting ready to bed.

Nothing big, but the toad bite was fun. Boated a total of 11 between Friday afternoon and this morning.

Back to Back cold fronts and not happy at Roland's. Hendersons, Camp Mack, Grape Hammock are more our style.

No matter how unhappy you are at Roland's, The smile on Nicole's face is pretty big so some of the trip is going well it looks like, looks like a beautiful place to fish too !!!

Really nice pics and thanx for sharing !!!!

Lee, where is Henderson's? I mean, what part of the lake. The only places I have launched is Trails End fishcamp and the state park on I believe the north end of the lake. BTW, great pictures........................Al

Its in the cove on the NW corner. You have to go into Lake Placid, east on 621, then north on Hallmark Ave. About 10 min from US 27. The cabins are old but clean and the atmosphere is very friendly and family oriented.

I used to love Hendersons.

Great pictures, despite the Gator apparel. :leisures-and-sports-076:

I have a Tournament there in May, cant wait love Istopoka.

I stayed there once, nice place for fisherman. when we were there we wrecked them (like 100 a day) in a cove directly across the lake from the cove hendersons is in.

That place looks like heaven.
