Disney Fishing

Hey all,

I'll be going down to Disney World in 3 weeks and have a guide booked to fish the lake(s) down there. We will be launching out on the lake where the Contemporary Hotel is located (sorry, not sure of the lake's name) and would like to know what I can expect this time of year?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Cool man, can give some info on the overall experience. I did it from the yacht club and it was in Oct. We used shiners on spinning gear but they had bait casting gear and plastics too. We fished the canal and lake in Epcot. Guide was fairly knowledgable both about the disney area and around orlando and my oldest who was 4 at the time had a blast. The lake u are going out of is the biggest and best from what I hear. I think in three weeks they will be in prespawn or even spawn. Good luck.

Pre-spawn/spawn? We're just icing over here...LOL...I forget how early the spawn is down there.

Thanks MCS.

Man, hard water....I would go insane!!!!! :dazed-7: I'm sure glad I can wet a line all winter without knocking a hole in the ice! :respect-059:
