sinking spros

Featured Replies

I have a couple of lil jons that are taking on water. They still run good under the water but they sink like a stone. Most of them are cracked from me hitting rocks or docks casting. Is there any way of fixing these baits? Or should I just keep using them the way they are?

Thanks for any input

I've filled in holes or cracks with a hot glue gun. One was a Hula Popper that I did this to over 2 seasons ago and its still holding fine. And being somewhat clear, it shouldn't affect any color schemes.

Try to get the water out and then fix the crack by brushing on some 2 part epoxy like Devcon 2 ton. Use a cheap little kids paint brush with synthetic bristles. One or two seperate applications. 1-2 days for full cure.
