Hello everyone, just had a question about the drag on my baitcaster. Yesterday while my cousin and I were putting our rods and tackle away after some fishing, I backed off the star drag as I usually do, and then to make sure the drag was backed off, I turned the handle once or twice while holding the spool with my thumb. Is this bad for the drag to do this once or twice after a trip?

No, it wont hurt it.

I do it all the time to make sure my drags are backed off.... Don't forget they are loosened because if you hook a fish, your in for one heck of a fight haha
