I went ahead and picked up a Kistler micro mag  'swimbait special' that they had on special for $120 shipped.      It's a 7'3" MH fast action so it can be used for a lot more.

St. Croix rage series come in micro. I personally have a 7'4" heavy for my frogging applications. Nice rod, good back bone.

Thanks Lou I took a look at them. I don't like the handle design though so I'll have to continue my search.

for under $100 academys "h2o xpress" product line is awesome. i have one of their 7' MH rods and im planning on replacing all my rods with academys. its light, sensitive, and i can throw anything with it from light spinnerbaits to line jigs and senkos. here is specs on it:

Sadly it has the acs reel seat on it and I can't stand it.  Sucks because I like the rest of it.
