Rod Question

What do you think about a 7' 6" light action rod ?

Depends on make, model, lure rating and its characteristics. I have a BPS Pro Series Crappie rod that is 9' Light powered but feels more powerful (backbone) than my Med-Lt St Croix Avid 8' rod. Ive caught plenty of bass with the BPS rod even out of somewhat thick weeds.

For what?

It depends on how you plan to use it. Seems like a long rod for drop shotting. I prefer a 6'10" ML/Fast action tip with 6lb flouro,. For bulkier lures and heavier line I go with a 7' MH/Xtra Fast action tip, for this I'll use 10lb braid to an 8-10lb flouro leader.
