Thinking about fishing slims tourney anyone going to be up there?

Whats the cost? That's a team tourney, right?

Hey sunk boat, I fished that tourney by myself Sunday. There was like 15 teams. Just shy of 15 lbs. took 1st & 2nd. Big bass I think was like a 7 lber. I didn't even bother to weigh-in. 1 fish 2lbs. There was a tourney there the day before and 24lbs won it. There was dirty water everywhere. When I would find clean water I couldn't get any bites.

 

Hey Bocabasser, I saw your KOTG partner at the ramp. Those power poles on the back of his boat are huge! lol. Those Lake and bay boats are great combos!

yeah i passed, knew the best fish were up north and outta slims with my little knowledge of running accross the lake and the reef decided to wait for the busters tournys this weekend. seems like all the water down south is dirty but there are still some females down there just gotta find em.

I was going to fish busters this weekend, but I can't get off...  Let me know how it goes, the South has been brutal the last month or so...

anyone have experience running outta clewiston and accross the lake through the reef? is it well marked? pretty easy to follow?

One year Bass Busters rotated between Clewiston and Okee Tanti.

I dont know why they stopped that, I guess it didn't work out for them.

Yea that was him. i had a boatload of yardwork to do as well as 2 birthday parties, so i couldn't fish it. those power poles are like goal posts. when they are up it is kind of a pain to cast off the back of the boat. when they are down, you don't budge! his lake and bay is the baddest boat i have ever fished out of. i have an r91 ranger and i love it, but i would much rather fish out of his lake and bay.
