Rod Glove

Featured Replies

I have the rod glove for casting rod and love them but, I need some for my spinning rods now. I've heard many rod covers aren't big enough to fit over the last guide so I'm wondering how these are? I have mostly dobyns and abu veritas rods if that matters.

bass pro has the one for spinning google it see what you get  other company's make rod sleeves and some are really great

Yep you can find them for spinning rods.  I used to use them until I had them catch some air one day on a run up river, and I didn't have my rods tied down....  :cry4:

Here is how you can reach them, either way if you have any concerns contact Jim and voice them. He is great to do business with and I have no affiliation with RG just one very satisfied consumer......

How well do these protect the rod? I have the covers that came with my NRX's and usually put my rod in the plastic cases they are shipped in when I go to travel.

So I was wondering if the rod glove offers padding or what you guys have found in its usage for the rod?

Thanks

I have rod gloves on all my rods. spinning and casting. no padding but the material is thick enough, but I do have rod boxes in my boat. I actually prefer them to built in rod holders.

Great company to work with, unlike you I do have somewhat of an affiliation but was a satisfied customer before then.

The pro series has more padding than the original rod glove. The Rod gloves allows you to store your rods in a bundle without getting a tangled mess.  They really do allow you to organize your rods a lot better. I like to use them to organize but to also protect the guides on my rods.

I use the standard RG on all my rods and dumped the NRX issued cover for a RG as well. I use mine while traveling in the vehicle ,on the boat or while being stored at home without any problems.
