I was wanting to get some feed back on these Big Bass Battle Tournaments. I was thinking about fishing in one in May and was wanting to know if there were any major problems or down sides to these types of tournaments. It looks like fun but what you read on their web site and what you see on tv can be very diffrent when you get there. The one I was thinking about fishing is at Table Rock and is sponsered by Oakley if that helps.

I fished one here in Tennessee last year but did not win any money. It was fun and different. I fished the Oakley tournament if there are others, not sure. The tournaments are very well run and they give very frequent updates for the current winning weight. They held the weigh in on a commercial dock which allowed a quick weigh in and back fishing. The only time you had to worry about was travel time to the dock and back. Will probably fish it again this year...............Al
