Difference Between The Curado 200G And Cronarch's?

I know the Chronarch has aluminum side plates, but what's the reason for the jump in price?

Be nice, I really don't know much about them.

Take the jump in price from the Revo S to the STX has more bearings, better breaking system and more speed options etc.

Shimano's website has a nice compare feature. You could check that our and compare multiple reels.

The Chronarch E is the same as the Curado E with some upgraded parts. Different frame and design between the E and G.

Just buy the Chronarch and you will be very happy.

chronarch has two more bearings, different drag washer, titanium line guide and the handle is drilled. also the spool and handle go through the anodizing process twice. however, the thing that probably impacts the price the most is that the chronarchs are made in japan whereas the curado Gs are manufactured in malaysia where everything is less expensive.

No, the Chronarch has composite side plates. The price difference has to do with slightly better components, and origin of manufacture, as pointed out in the post above.

also, i think the drag stars are some sort of aluminum alloy on the chronarchs and a graphite composite on the curado Gs.

The Cronarch sits a bit lower to the rod it looks like?

A Cronarch on a Crucial for cranking would be purdy!!!!

Some of the reviews have said that the old Curado's are like the new Cronarch's.

Well it's more the rod. I really really like that 6'8" Medium MF top water rod. Throwing Popr's and minnows would be a dream with it. And if i put an Abu on it the world might shift causing you to go all Abu on us!!

Chronarch e series have a composite star.

whoa, i got home and just checked...it is indeed not metal...i've only had the chronarch for a month and have played with it but never fished it yet but i never noticed.

The Chronarch used to have aluminum side plates. It is possible that you're watching an older product video.
