Hello there.  My name's Phil.  Just moved to Bay Minette in South Alabama from the Guntersville Lake area in North Alabama.  Grew up fishing up there, but only got serious about bass fishing about 7 years ago.  Didn't know how good I had it till I moved.  Never been on a bass forum before, but I thought with being in a new place, it might be a way to learn something new since the water in the Mobile Delta is quite a bit different than what I'm used to.  Since I've been here, the job has swamped me and I've only got to go out once.  Trying to change that and get our there more.  Also enjoy fishing with my little boy.  Last time we fished on Guntersville, he says "Dad, today I'm going to catch a striped bass and a catfish!"  I guess he'd been fishing too much on Wii and thought it was just that easy.  Well, I guess on Guntersville it is that easy 'cause I'll be dog if he didn't do just that.  Decided to join the forum to learn a few new tricks so maybe he and I can get out around here and start catchin 'em again and build some more of those memories.
