Where Can I Go Bassin Near Kissimmee?

Featured Replies

I will be traveling to FL in june and I will like to know where can I go fishing near Kissimmee? I will be staying in a hotel near Disney in a timeshare or something like that. I definitely want to try my luck fishing in the states. Im Thinking about either buying a cheap ugly stick setup there and fish with it and a couple lures or buying a good setup, using it there for the first time and ship it to my house after im done.

For what ive seen the closest lakes will be lake toho, I just dont know if its a good lake for shore fishing or if there is a place where I can rent a boat even a paddle jon boat and paddle around. I also want to know if there are good ponds around? maybe going to a pond will be easier, more convenient than going to a big lake like toho where I may get lost or something.

I have a FL boating license so renting wont be a problem. I know ill have to get the fishing license. whats the better option?

I almost forgot, I DONT WANT ENCOUNTERS WITH GATORS. LOL

Im exited!!!

thanks guys!!!

Where cant you go?

You can fish almost anywhere in central Florida. There are TONS of small bodies of water that are easy to get to that you can bank fish from. Renting a boat won't even be necessary. You can catch great fish almost anywhere. As for alligators, they are a fact of life in Florida. You shouldn't have any problems with them as they tend to stay away from humans. Make sure you keep an eye open anyway.

Good luck, they're everywhere. They usually won't bother you though
