JERKBAITS!!!!

Featured Replies

IM looking for the best jerkbaits that wont kill my wallet. Please let me know

Over the years, I have caught a ton of Bass on Smithwick "Suspending Rogues" and Rapala "Husky Jerks".

Then going up pricewise, are the Rapala "X-Raps".

At even a higher price is the LuckyCraft "Pointers".

They have all caught fish for me, but all cost different prices.

The Bomber Suspending Pro Long A is a pretty good bait for a good price.

Right in between the X-Rap and the LC Pointer is the XCalibur Xt3, another good bait.

Luck Craft baits will not kill your wallet - they will just wound it for a while.  If those are too pricey, go with Rogues.  Be sure to buy and bunch of suspend dots and suspend strips.  Part of the charm of fishing Rogues is getting them weighted right, so they suspend.  And after a while, when you can afford some Pointers, you will appreciate them more.

Bomber Long A's

Strike King Wild Shiner

Rapala X-Rap

Rapala Husky Jerk

Falcon

just get some x-raps! they wont kill your wallet cuz you only need a couple colors and you are set! i use the green backs and black backed ones. these two produce more for me than any other jerkbait i have. ;D

Rapalas are really popular here.  But my favorite cheap jerkbaits are the Strike King KVD Wild Shiner and the Smithwick Suspending Rogues.
