Good Lmb Fishing Spots In Palm Beach

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'm planning a trip down to Palm Beach/West Palm Beach County the first week of April. Im going to be visiting family and doing as much fishing as possible. I'll be staying with relatives that live in Wellington and visiting the Delran area. I've been studying the area on Google Earth and I see that Wellington is surrounded by a lake, but there are tons of other smaller ponds and lakes in the area as well. I'll probably be doing most of my fishing from the banks, so I was wondering if anyone knows of any good places to fish for LMB in that area. Also what types of lures would work best for that time of year in central Florida?

Every puddle of water has bass in it around here. Every canal or pond holds fish. Don't be scared to fish those ponds behind stores either.

If you want a nice park setting you can try Okeeheelee Park. If I recall, there's plenty of fishable shoreline there.

We get the spring bait runs starting about April, I wouldn't overlook fishing for snook.
