Anybody use the 7' mh bps gs rod for jigs? Bought the rod from a buddy and with a reel and line on it, it seems very stiff and not very sensitive. Just wondering if you all had the same opinion or it is just me.

I think of these as very tight budget rods.  If you want a rod that's just a knock around and will throw a line and bring a bait back, these will do it.  But for sensitivity, they will be limited compared to rods in the upper price ranges.  What kind of line do you have on it? That will make a difference too.
