Hi Guys and Gals,

   Going to be fishing in the Thousand Islands a lot this summer and would like recommendations for a chartplotter to help me A get home and B keep from tearing my lower unit off. From what Ive seen at BPS the Lowrance LCX-28hd fits the bill but hurts my wallet. I looked at the cheaper models but the maps didnt show the same detail as far as hazards and such. Anyway just need a little convincing that it would be money well spent or not. Thanks for any input.
