Temperature Probes, Does Anyone Still Use Them?

Featured Replies

Temperature probe (cable type ;)  ) does anyone still use them?  If so, what manufacture/model?

I would frequently use one many years ago until it grew feet and walked away.  IMHO I think they are more helpful in cold weather than what depth finders can tell you.  Problem is I don't see them for sale much, I have to look hard to find one.  What's up with that anyway???

Anyone use this one? How would you rate it?  http://www.amazon.com/Luster-Leaf-PCPS50-Procatch-Catching/dp/B001NZYX1I/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=27J7CKNCLX2TS&coliid=I3497ZE2QPRJRF
