Plano, Tx - Places To Fish

Featured Replies

  • Super User

I will be down there for a week at a conference.  Can anyone point me to someplace where I can go bass fishing.  I plan to get as much fishing after the conference done as I can.

A couple thoughts for you.  Grab a guide at Lake Fork and catch plenty of "slot" 2-6 pounders.  For free you can fish local ponds.  There are a ton around with plenty of fish.  Use Google maps to find them.  Take a drive by and stop to fish if it looks good.  Lots of golf course communities around here with great fishing ponds in them.  Avoid crossing greens.  I live in the area so feel free to message me for more info.

There is a place off of preston. I cant remember the cross street. Its about 3 miles from 161 if your heading North on preston. It is a very large pond and there is ALWAYS people out there fishing and catching. Never been myself but have always wanted to stop by.
