No idea but I do not remember seeing Strike King sunglasses at my BPS outside of Richmond.

Ya lol. Seriously the BP is maybe less than a half mile from Campus. They don't open until 9 though. I want to get some jerkbaits and scope out a rod for the rod trade in this week

Can you trade in any rod? I have a crappy 2 piece shakespeare rod that came with one of those $12 rod and reel combos at wal mart. Found it at our dock. Looks like it's new, but I wonder if BPS will accept it??

Should be able to. I called and talked with Mgr yesterday. I have a cheap walmart Zebco spinning combo. It looks great and works. That's all they care about. He said they have elcheapo rods and reels for 5-6 bucks at the front you can buy, get BP points for, and trade them in.

I'm looking for a 6'8"-7' medium moderate rod for jerkbaits and top waters. Kinda keeping my fingers crossed for a 7' Veritas Winch if I can find one that hasn't been stuck in the garbage disposal first.

Actually this week is the reel trade-in, the rod trade in starts next week. I traded in a OLD shakesphere reel and got a $10 rebate on a new Orra. Heck - I watched one guy buy a $5 ice fishing reel on clearance, then turn right back around and trade it on a brand new REVO and they gave him $40 in rebate.

Is it a rebate or do they discount the price at the register??

I have a pair of Camo SK glasses on my hat as I am typing this, they are on sale at Wal Mart for 15 dollars.

 

They are okay as far as then lenses go, I have a 12 dollar marked down from 50 pair of .....idk maybe Kenneth Cole glasses I got for cheap before my honeymoon and those lenses are awesome.

 

I honestly think going to your local mall and checking out the sale rack for last years style glasses will yield you unexpected results. The lens is what is important, and for 12 bucks I got a good pair of lenses on meh looking glasses.

 

Just a thought on a cheaper slightly better then SK route.
