What size treble hooks are you guys using to swap out the stock hooks? I just had a beast of a smallmouth straighten out the rear treble. I read somewhere that they come with #6's, would #4's be too big and affect the action?

What size treble hooks are you guys using to swap out the stock hooks? I just had a beast of a smallmouth straighten out the rear treble. I read somewhere that they come with #6's, would #4's be too big and affect the action?

I am not sure what a heavier hook would do.. I do know that a lighter hook will cause that bait to no longer Suspend,it will float up to the surface. They are very precisely balanced. I'd get the right size hook.
