I have a two point question.Will a Johnny Morris 6 ft 10 in, Med heavy rod, with a extra fast tip, skip jigs ok. And does a 3/8 oz Siebert elite swim jig skip better than a 1/2 oz.The one with the flat head not the bullet head or the grass head. THANKS  GOD BLESS

Your trailer is going to make more of a difference in my opinion. Rod you spoke of will skip jigs fine. Its how good your thumb is assuming youre talking about a baitcaster.
