Hello, i am about to start pouring my own lead jigs and makeing them up.  My questions is what do yall all look for in a good jig, such as fast or slow fall rate, presentation, rattles or no rattles, and head shape.

Your'e going to get a lot of opinions on this but these are my tried and true favorites

1. Pitching- 3/8-1/2oz Arkie head with round rubber skirt with a round bend premium hook

2.Rocks-1/2-3/4oz football head with rubber-silicone skirt or silicone skirt with a round bend hook.

3.-Boat docks-1/4oz Arkie or swim jig head with rubber on the Arkie and  silicone on the swim jig.

Really depends on the cover. 

For grass I like a bullet shape with a verticle line tie like a Boyah Boo Jig.

For Rock I like a football head

For wood I like an arkie head or round with horizontal line tie.  With the round for lighter more finesse presentaitons.

do yall like a very slow fall? because i have some ideas to get bigger presentations with very slow falls but havnt tested these ideas yet.

also do yall like 1/8th" weedgaurd base?
