  1. I saw a fishing show a while back with Greg Hackney fishing in a backwater cypress swamp, he was using an old Curado B with some of the paint missing on it.He was flipping a jig to cypress trees. T
  2. Use the automatic bid feature and enter your maximum price you are willing to pay for the item.I have used this succesfully many times. T
  3. This setup should really launch a bait out there.Sounds like you dont have enough line on the reel.Spool up to within 1/16-1/8 " from the spool lip and you should be good to go. Let us know T
  4. I agree with Fat-G on this subject. Also I would fish with a Pocket Fisherman if they paid me what they paid KVD to fish Quantum. T
  5. I have a Tierra 2500 and love this reel, i am not a big spinning or Daiwa guy (Shimano mainly) but they hit a home run with this one. Check all the features vs other reels.
  6. Didn't want to google it bacause too many suspicious websites pop up
  7. I'm looking for a way to save some bucks for me & my wife's prescription meds and was wondering if any of you guys (old geezers ) have a good source that is trustworthy. Also curious about ordering from Canada as I understand the prices are way lower than the states. Thanks , T

  18. I use spinning tackle maybe about 10% of the time, but the 10% I use them I use a Daiwa Tierra 2500 and a Sol 2500.I have had several Shimano spinning reels and like the Daiwa's better even though I am a Shimano baitcasting guy.Oh and yeah they have never broken and are well made. T
  19. Go with baitcasting... This is the rod I use also,it is designated as the TWS (top water special)and was designed by Zell Rowland. It was designed to throw 1/4 oz Pop-R baits but as mentioned it can double as a crankbait rod. The rod is a lighter power than a MF but heavier than a ML.I have tried a MF baitcasting rod for Pop-R's but it does not do it as well as the TWS.Good all around rod you can get pretty reasonable(new $49.99) T
