  1. Waiting for the water to rise
  2. I go with the living rubber for the reason posted by nanticoke, sometimes adding just a little bit of sicone for flash. Most anglers go for the flashy silicone jigs simply because of eye appeal not understanding their action in the water . Put both in the water and observe and you will understand the action difference. T
  3. I prefer a full grip , my hands are large and I feel like I get a better grip on the rod . T
  4. I don't think I could handle the 20 minute ride up in a 28" tube T
  5. They really like people from Pennsylvania in Alabama, their favorite folks matter of fact.
  6. I personally never change the size of replacement hooks, the manufacturer installed them for the best performance with that particular bait. T
  7. That is correct T
  8. I use the thigh/drumstick quarters for grilling. I coat them in olive oil & season with Tony Catchere's seasong including under the skin. Throw on high heat for 1 minute for both sides to brown a little and then at 325 inderect heat for 45 minutes. Never fails. T

  10. Name brand means nothing to me when it comes to blades , their most likely made by a couple of companies anyway. The website above has good quality blades , I particularly like the wide colorado blades..caught a lot of fish with those. T
  11. While Lew's was the thing back in yesteryear (I have one of the original speed spools made by Shimano) the new offerings do not impress me at all. There are too many other good products out there too spend that kind of money and take a chance. T

I have not used these and IMO you can buy similar quality spinnerbaits cheaper (War Eagle) T
  13. Use enamal spray paint in the can and after it drys I put on a coat of epoxy, or flex coat rod finish. I don't buy into the idea of spinnerbait head detail..I dont't think it makes that much difference. T
  14. I wouldn't suggest turning all the brakes off , I use 2 or 3... anything less could lead to a professional over run. T
  15. Very realistic ,you done did good T
  16. I think that's the popping rod as previously mentioned , you won't find any info on the Classic series as it is an in house rod for Acadamy T
  17. Wise sayings from two very wise men "Adjust a small sapling when small to keep it straight because once it becomes a large tree it cannot be straightened out" "Spare the rod and spoil the child" Wise words for parents...As the father of 4 kids over 20 I followed those rules and it works. T
  18. After watching the video the only living person to defeat this animal would be Chuck Norris with a roundhouse kick T
  19. Yeah, the Pokes are not looking too good this year. I'm not a big fan of Wade as a coach however I thought his dad Bum was great in his day, another bad choice by Jones. Should have kept Jimmy Johnson IMO. T
  20. I have three and one is my dedicated crankbait reel which I upgraded with abec 7 bearings and Smoothie drag washers. It will cast a crank a mile and keep on tickin T
  21. Steel wool will restore tarnished blades without scratching them, the key is to use very fine. T
