Going Out Tomorrow

Featured Replies

im going out on the boat tomorrow i mainly been fishing Margate n coconut creek canals you can reach from docking at c-14 ( southgate n rock island) since i got my boat. wanna go somewhere new any suggestions around the broward area would be greatly appciated

thank you

i would say take the c14 east because if u go west it ends pretty quick. I dont know exact spots but just turning into the canals that go behind houses are always the best. If you can launch on the hillsboro canal its even better because u can fish all the way to lox, big snakeheads and bass all over.

I was down in Broward last week fishing for peacocks, I saw a tarpon roll and that got my juices flowing.  Using a 6'6 ml rod I would have no chance in the world of landing a tarpon, the thrill of hooking it would have superceded any expense in damaged equipment.  I'm going back out there today or tomorrow.

hey thank you for the reply we ended going to  hillsboro n did decent 2 snakeheads a gar n 3 bass

There is not that many ramps in urban Broward. You have to go west for more ramps. Since your around the Margate area I would suggest you try out the end of Lox rd. That is probably the closest productive area to you with out going to either markham park or anywhere off 27.
