Double Fluke Or Double Senko Rig?

Featured Replies

I have been thinking about this for some time now! I know the double fluke rig works but how about a double senko rig? I was thinking of fishing two 4 in. senko's. Not sure if it would work! What do you think or has anyone tryed this?

Works just fine! If you really want to play it can be as complicated as you want, fun to play with if your out feeling like screwing around. You can mix colors, sizes, weight one bait or the other,or mix different baits entirely. I like to use 2 trickworms,or a trick+finesse worm. My newest creation is take a magnum size fluke(baby bass) and put a tiny fluke or berkley minnow in front of it. 8-)

On a side note: I've been curious of doing one of these type of rigs on a c-rig.Haven't done it yet. :-?

That C-rig is intresting! ;)

A real easy way to do this is to pickup one of those pre-rigged worms (around here we call 'em Mort rigs) - throw away the worm and hook a fluke on each of the hooks - some even come with beads and a little propeller that can make it look like the flukes are chasing something.

The hooks on a pre-rigged worm are pretty small for a fluke!

Ive used this a few times. I love it for bed fishing. There have been a few times where i have caught the male and female at the same time.

Depends on the pre-rigged worm.  How big does a hook have to be for a bass to get snagged?
